Tutored by: Pete Cooper
29 - 31 October 2010 (Weekend course)
After its successful debut last year, we repeat Peter Cooper’s course dedicated to introducing fiddlers to the wonderful repertoire of traditional airs and dance tunes of the four home nations. You don’t need previous experience of folk fiddling, but you do need to be of at least intermediate standard. Learn a range of jigs, reels, hornpipes, strathspeys and so on by ear, and learn how to bow and finger them in the traditional way. Even though you will have played these pieces from memory Peter will give you legal copies of the written notes to take away at the end of the course.
Resident: £190.00
Non-resident: £155.00
